Dear Friends,
“He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.”
Proverbs 19:17
What a promise! If there is anyone to whom I would want to lend, it certainly would be the Lord! For those of you who faithfully give to us, may this verse be fulfilled in your lives.
The tourists have begun returning to Puerto Vallarta. That is good news for businesses here, and means increased participation in our school lunch program. Last Wednesday, we took six people with us to Quimixto. Not only did we feed the kids, but we set up tables on the one street in town and gave away fifteen bags of used clothing. A Canadian couple brought down over thirty bags of clothing (collected and prepared by their daughter and her friends) for men, women, and children here. The people were grateful and loving, as they took only what they needed and shared the rest with their neighbors.
We’ve also recently given out donated crayons, colored pencils, spiral notebooks, and Spanish dictionaries to help the schools and students. These basic supplies are always in demand. Another couple who joined us in Boca de Tomatlan, feels a real connection with the children and what we are doing. John offered to set up a webpage for us, for free! It should be up and running by the beginning of December. Check us out then at CaringForKids-PV.com.
From Sandra:
We want to thank you so much for sharing with us! Please pray for us also, and we will for you!
I have been privileged to be able to pray at different times for two friends in one of the villages. I wanted to act in simple faith on one of Jesus’ final encouragements to His disciples: “Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My Name He will give you . . . Ask and you will receive that your joy may be full.” John 16:23, 24. One woman teaches midweek Bible lessons for the children at the church. As we talked, I felt she needed prayer. Her tears flowed when I prayed for many blessings, especially the infilling of God’s Spirit; even though I prayed in English so I could ask for all I was feeling. The other friend has a tumor in her abdomen, but no money for an operation. Please pray for a miracle!
Thank you, and may God repay you ‘pressed down, shaken together, and running over’!
With love and prayers for many blessings,
Randy and Sandra
