Dear friends,

randy&sandra

Randy & Sandra celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary.

I trust you are enjoying a warm, relaxing summer. Let me assure you, it is definitely warm and humid here in Puerto Vallarta!

Most of our summer programs have ceased for the season, but we are still active with plans for the coming school year, and preaching at our church, Paradise Community Center, for seven weeks from mid-August.

I met with a Pastor from Oklahoma whom I have known for several years. His small congregation wants to support our lunch program in Quimixto when school re-opens. Pray with us for clear direction and sufficient funds to resume the outreach there and possibly the other schools as well. Another faithful friend is offering support for the coming year also.

We are grateful for all of the help we receive from you, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

God still performs miracles!

God still performs miracles!

Our trip to Burundi, East Africa in June was a huge success. Fifty thousand cards were filled out indicating decisions of salvation. Over the five days, hundreds of thousands filled the stadium and field, healings were amazing, and the Lord was greatly honored. All thanks to Him! One of the many outstanding miracles happened to a young boy about seven years old. He was born paralyzed from the waist down. As people were praying for him, he rose up by his own strength and began to walk. During testimonies of other healings, he walked on the stage with his Mother and told what God had done for Him. Such events never cease to amaze us and cause new praise to rise to God.

Please keep us in prayer as we return to our hometown, Olney, Texas after two years. September 16th, I will be doing a Memorial Service for my Brother, Bill, who passed away in late June after months of struggling with heart and kidney failure. We will see my Mother and Sandra’s siblings, and our own kids, who will be coming for their sister, Emily’s, wedding the following Saturday, September 20th. It will be a see -saw of emotions as I will also perform her ceremony, joining her and Matthew Benton together in marriage in Amarillo, Texas. It will be quite a month! Please pray for safety and peace for all.

We would greatly appreciate not only your prayers, but your financial support during the next few months. I realize it is a challenging time for everyone, but if the Lord directs you, keep us in mind.

During difficult days or joy-filled seasons, remember the promise I applied to my life this morning: “Being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6.

Sending our love and blessings,

Randy and Sandra Barr
